I’ve been getting this question a lot lately since the feesh seem to have disappeared off the face of the Earth. I know I owe you an explanation.
The short answer is: No time. The longer answer is: Seriously, I really haven’t had any time.
I’ve embarked on a new journey of self-enlightenment. Okay, that’s a bunch of garbage. I can’t even say that with a straight face. Honestly, I’m in the process of developing my own business. So I’ve squeezed every last minute and ounce of energy I have on this new venture. Over the past few months, I’ve already been fortunate enough to have many people requesting my services. It’s a good problem to have, but unfortunately the feesh bowl has been moved to the back corner of the den behind the dusty National Geographics and that oil painting of feral cats from weird Uncle Todd when he was dabbling with his artistic side.
I’ve experimented with different scenarios on how to end the strip. Nothing seems appropriate. Perhaps I should just let you, dear reader, write your own ending.
I thought about making it a once-a-week strip. But then I realize that my life will only be getting busier in the coming months. And I don’t want to take time away from my little boy.
“Daddy would love to play with you, but he has to go draw cartoon fish now.” Sounds funny when you say it out loud, doesn’t it?
I’m considering compiling all the feesh strips into an ebook. I’ll let you know how that works out.
So thank you very much for being a loyal reader of bolofeesh. I really enjoyed drawing them and I hope I was able to bring a small amount of levity into your day.
So on to the next great adventure… I’ve got bigger fish to fry. (that was so uncalled for)
Wish me luck!
Paul
